Here’s How it Works:

This is a private, by-invitation-only event that we are making available to a select group of our local clients and their guests.

Choose the evening that appeals to you and call Charlene to pre-pay and reserve your spot. Cost is $50 per person and all-inclusive; this means we’ll teach you the art of enjoying a 5-course French meal and a show you a French film with culturally specific insider commentary for this unbelievable price.

Here Are the Details:

Each evening will consist of a 5-course French meal: Appetizer, Main Course, Salad, Cheese Plate, and Dessert. Menus are designed to complement themes from the evening’s selected movie. We will also offer a carafe of house red wine, house white wine, or water. Or, bring your own favorite wine, and we will serve it for you!

Pascal and Charlene will set the stage for each movie, explaining its cultural significance and interesting things to watch for. Mid-film, we’ll pause for brief 5-minute break followed by a Q&A session at the end where you can take advantage of our language and cultural expertise!

Chocolat reminds you of life's simple, sensual pleasures and invites you to enjoy them. Driven by fate, Vianne (Juliette Binoche) drifts into a sleepy French village with her daughter in the winter of 1959. She opens a chocolatier during Lent, striking fear in the hearts of the repressed villagers. Can Vianne revive the straight-laced villagers' passions? When a band of gypsies and their leader Roux (Johnny Depp) set up camp on the edge of town, it seems that anything might be possible... A film with an authentic French feel and rhythm that includes a memorable appearance by Dame Judi Dench.
