Pascal and I were living and working in New York City on September 11, 2001 when the twin towers fell. We will never forget the sounds, the smoke, the faces, the feelings, the flyers, the sadness and the solidarity. 9/11 changed the world at large; and it changed our little world too. Like many New Yorkers (and yes, I became one in my heart forever that day), I did a lot of soul searching about meaning, priorities, and purpose. Our national nightmare was also a personal wake-up call: listen to your heart; cherish every day; follow your dreams. Isn't making the most of your life the best way to remember those who lost theirs?
