We're proud to announce that South 'n France Bon Bons can now be found at yet another Port City Java location. Cape Fear Community College students, faculty, and visitors will be able to enjoy our sweet treats at Union Station.
Never heard of Union Station? The 200,000 square-foot building is the newest addition to Cape Fear Community College’s downtown campus. The design reflects the architecture of the former Atlantic Coastline Railroad Headquarters (aka Union Station), which was built in the 1840's and demolished in the late 1960’s. One of the coolest features of the new building is that it incorporates the old ACRR rail bed, utilizing it as a student park.
Union Station houses CFCC's student services, administrative offices for the business department, the Healthcare Department which includes nursing, biology and chemistry labs, a 300-seat lecture hall, classrooms, and a community meeting center. The adjoining parking deck boasts parking for 1200 cars.
With new healthcare labs, new equipment, new classrooms, a Port City Java cafe, and freshly made bon bons, we bet traffic is just as busy as it once was in the old Union Station. All aboard for bon bons!
